Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, Chairman, Ijede LCDA welcoming pupils back to school in Ijede LCDA

The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motuntayo Gbadebo -Alogba has welcomed pupils back to schools after a long holiday.

The 2025/26 academic session commenced across Lagos State today.

While recognising that education is the foundation of a brighter future, the chairman in a statement also encouraged both the returning and new pupils to be disciplined, focused and ready to give their all to their studies.

“As the 2025/2026 academic session begins, I welcome all our pupils back to their classrooms, knowing that education is the foundation for building a brighter future for every child in our community.

“As a mother, I encourage all pupils to remain disciplined, focused, and resilient, while nurturing a positive mindset and believing in their ability to succeed.”

She pledged her administration’s commitment to upgrading infrastructures, providing essential educational materials and ensuring conducive academic environment.

“As a government, we remain committed to upgrading school infrastructure, providing essential learning materials, and fostering a conducive learning environment.

“I commend our dedicated teachers for their tireless efforts and call on parents to remain actively involved in supporting their children’s education.

“Together, let us make this academic year a successful and fulfilling one.”
